My story
Welcome to the Cynthiart etc. online store. I'm Cynthia, a mom and illustrator passionate about decorating baby's and children's rooms, and I'm proud to share my passion with you. This passion began to develop in my own childhood, and it has become even stronger since the birth of my two daughters.
I am based in Sainte-Catherine de la Jacques-Cartier, a picturesque municipality in the suburbs of Quebec. The region is a true haven of peace, surrounded by mountains, lakes, countryside and forests, which inspire me every day. My artistic journey began at a young age, and I developed my drawing and painting skills to create works of art for little ones.
I am passionate about creating nursery and children's room decor, and love working with soft colors and warm textures to create a welcoming and comforting ambiance for your little one. Whether you are looking for personalized wall decor, matching bedding or unique decorative accessories, I am here to help you create a unique and inspiring nursery.
By choosing Cynthiart etc., you benefit from personalized service and particular attention to every detail. I pride myself on using high quality materials for all of my projects and ensuring that each creation meets my clients' expectations.
If you are looking to create a unique, personalized and inspiring baby or child's bedroom, do not hesitate to contact me. I would love to work with you to create decor that reflects the love you have for your little one.
A little piece of my story 💖
My daughters are 18 months apart and the youngest was born in the summer of 2019.
My first daughter born at the end of 2017 was the one who breathed new life into my creations. She makes me rediscover life through her eyes. She shows me that everything can be a source of wonder and discovery. It inspires me and gives me the taste to demonstrate all the beauty of life, of the subtle details that make it up.
A second extraordinary little princess has been part of my life since June 2019. Hospitalized at birth, she underwent heart surgery at 12 days of life. Back home since she was 4 weeks old, she had open heart surgery in November 2020 at 17 months old and has just had her third and final operation at 3 and a half years old. She taught me to live in the present moment and surprised me with her strength and courage. She is our great warrior.
Art and my small business help me to be more resilient towards this ordeal and to remain positive, to take my mind off things. It must be said that creation has always been a passion, with me taking oil painting lessons at the age of 8.
It is often said that art is therapeutic, in my case it helped me not to let myself be overwhelmed by the uncertainty of the first years of my youngest's life and the difficult context of the pandemic.
